Contact our staff at adelaidecantonese@gmail.com to enquire about available placements and choose the right class level for your child.
*The school reserves the right to defer enrolments once capacity is reached.
Our staff will provide instructions for the payment.
Please include your child's full name in the payment description and screenshot of your bank transaction.
Email the screenshot of your bank transaction once payment has been made.
Please also let us know your child's Chinese name if they have one.
Our staff will provide the link to the online enrolment form. Please complete the form 3 days before the 1st lesson.
When prompted, please select "Adelaide Cantonese Language School" as the school's name.
Enrolment FAQ
How do I know which class level is right for my child?
Placement is based on age, Cantonese exposure, and learning readiness, rather than prior reading or writing ability. Our staff will help recommend the most suitable class after a brief discussion with parents.
Are the teachers qualified?
Yes. Our teaching team is made up of 100% qualified and/or registered educators from either Hong Kong or Australia. Many hold postgraduate qualifications in education and have experience teaching in both mainstream and community language school settings.
How big are the classes?
We maintain small class sizes (2–8 students) to ensure personalised attention and high-quality learning. Once a class reaches capacity, enrolments may be paused to maintain teaching standards.
What language and writing system do you teach?
We teach Cantonese, with Traditional Chinese characters used for reading and writing. This reflects the writing system commonly used in Hong Kong and many overseas Cantonese-speaking communities.
Do you offer trial lessons?
Trial lessons may be available subject to class capacity. Please contact us to discuss availability and suitability.
